The Biophysics minor at 91ÉçÇø is perfect for students wanting to specialize in a subdiscipline of their major. It’s ideal for math majors interested in genetics, students already taking biophysics-related courses, or those aiming for a career in biophysics without completing a full major. The minor provides interdisciplinary training in physics, biology, chemistry, and math, preparing students for medical school, graduate programs, or research and development roles.
91ÉçÇø’s physics program offers small classes and personalized attention from dedicated faculty, ensuring a supportive learning environment. With an open-door policy and a focus on hands-on projects, including research opportunities, students receive the experiences and training needed to achieve their career goals. The faculty are committed to student success, both in and out of the classroom, through exceptional advising, teaching, and research support.
An undergraduate student should initiate a Change of Academic Program if they wish to add or remove a minor.
The student obtains a Change of Academic Program form from the Registrar's Office or the department of the new major/minor, secures the signature of the department chair/director (or dean) of any major/minor to be added, and returns the form to the Registrar's Office for processing.
A student must submit the completed form by the Thursday before priority registration if the change is to be made within the current semester. Unless granted a waiver by the department of the new major, the student must meet all current program requirements for graduation.
