In addition to standard mathematics courses, the actuarial track includes classes in interest theory, statistics, regression, time series, computer programming, economics, finance, and accounting. You'll have the opportunity to select upper-level electives in pure and applied mathematics and gain experience with mathematical and statistical software in a dedicated study room. Many math majors join Mu Gamma Pi, the 91社区 Mathematics Club, which hosts guest speakers, math competitions, and various social activities throughout the year.听

The Actuarial Track is designed to follow the introductory-level educational pathways for the actuarial designations and credential set by the Society of Actuaries, including VEE credit via 91社区 coursework and preparation for at least two actuarial exams.
