MOVE IN CARTS AND VOLUNTEERS
There will be carts available for students to use at the residence halls (August 14-15) to move items into the buildings. Also, there will be HRL staff and Welcome Week Leaders assisting students moving into the residence halls on August 14-15. There will not be carts or volunteers available for other move in days or at the apartments.
Each residence hall has an elevator. To minimize a back up of people and carts in the lobby, students and guests should use the stairs. Elevators will be reserved for ADA accommodations and for moving large, heavy items.
If a student has a disability or condition that requires accommodations at move in, please email Living.
GUESTS DURING MOVE IN
Parents, families, and friends are welcome to help their students move in. To maintain safety of all students, guests, faculty, and staff, we strongly discourage any individuals from coming to campus who feel ill or have a fever.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Be aware there is ongoing road construction impacting both eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 62 near campus. Plan accordingly when coming to campus.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON MOVE IN DAYÂ
Drive Through Check In August 14-15 (TLC/New Student)
When you arrive to campus please take the 91ÉçÇø exit from Highway 62 onto University Boulevard. Follow the signs to parking lot B. On August 14-15, traffic control staff will direct extra vehicles on where to wait while student vehicles continue on in the line to the Check In tent. Student vehicles will stop at the Welcome Week tent first and then the Housing Check In tent. After checking in, you can go move into your new home!Â
Drive Through Check In August 10 (Early Move In) and August 16-17 (Returning Students)
Take the 91ÉçÇø exit from Highway 62 onto University Boulevard. Follow the roundabout to the left onto Clarke Lane.
