They will meet with the student for an assessment, then place them in a shelter with available space in the area. Aurora staff provides phone-based information and referral options to numerous individuals daily. We also compile listings on various topics such as rental units, employment, medical care, financial assistance, shelters, hot meals, and other resources. Our office is also able to make food referrals through the Food Pantry Consortium and to other independent pantries as needed. Local phone access and resource lists are available to anyone.
