Circle of Friends庐 Facilitator Training
Wednesday, August 6, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
During this pre-conference of the Mid-America Institute on Aging and Wellness (MAIA), attendees will learn how to implement an evidence-based group intervention for older adults experiencing loneliness and/or social isolation.

Who should attend this conference?
Nursing home staff, community members and older adults interested in implementing a Circle of Friends庐 program to combat loneliness and isolation.
After completing the learning activity, participants will be able to apply current practice standards to meet the needs of patients and families.

CE hours will be available for nurses, physicians, pharmacists, social workers and health facility administrators. CE hours will also be available for Indiana licensed marriage and family therapists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, mental health counselors and dental professionals.听
