Hypertension Management Certificate Program

Hypertension is a modifiable risk factor for stroke, myocardial infarction, heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, aortic dissection, atrial fibrillation, and end-stage kidney disease. The asymptomatic characteristic of hypertension can delay diagnosis and treatment. As the increasing risk of obesity and aging of the population, the incidence and prevalence of hypertension also rises. Effective management of hypertension requires an interprofessional and coordinated patient care approach. The program was designed utilizing the latest clinical guidelines and test plans for the certification examinations.
