The grievance process begins with a Formal Complaint, which is a document filed and/or signed by the Complainant or signed by the Title IX Coordinator alleging a violation of Prohibited Conduct under the听听and requesting that the University investigate the allegation(s). A Formal Complaint may be filed with the Title IX Coordinator in person, by mail, or by electronic mail. The Title IX Coordinator will assist the Complainant to ensure that the Formal Complaint is filed correctly.
An Informal Resolution Process is available only after a Formal Complaint has been filed, the Complainant and Respondent have been sent the Notice of Allegations, prior to a determination of responsibility, and if the Complainant and Respondent voluntarily consent to the process in writing. Informal resolution is not available in cases in which an employee is alleged to have sexually harassed a student.
Non-Title IX Sexual Harassment adjudication proceedings will be adjudicated in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in the听, including, when applicable, the听.听

These Procedures outline the resolution processes that will be used to resolve and/or investigate a report of Discrimination and related Harassment committed against a student, employee, or a person participating in or attempting to participate in a program or activity of the 91社区 under the University's听.听 Additionally, these procedures will address Sexual Misconduct matters not considered a Title IX Harassment matter, including Relationship Violence, Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Violence and Stalking as defined under the听听that occur off-campus, at study abroad programs, and/or online when the conduct affects a substantial University interest.
