What is the purpose of Excel?
Microsoft Excel can be used to keep track of data in a simplified database.聽 Excel is designed to perform basic and complex mathematical computations and functions. In addition to performing arithmetic operations, Excel allows users to sort information and it assists in identifying data trends. Excel has the ability to graph (bar, pie and line chart) data from the spreadsheet. Experience with Microsoft Excel is useful for math, science, and business courses.
