Designs can be created and printed in the CAD lab, equipped with 16 CAD stations using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. In addition, a Zeiss CMM machine and laser scanner can be used to reverse engineer parts.
With access to the various labs located in the Business and Engineering Center, CAR faculty and staff have the capability to test material composition, strength and durability.
The chemistry and biology departments are well equipped with modern instrumentation including a 400 MHz NMR Spectrometer, Microwave Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer and UV-Vis-Near-IR Spectrophotometer.
Staffed with Engineering Technicians, CAR personnel can assist with the design and feasibility analysis.
