The mission of the Risk Management office is to protect the assets of the University (financial, physical, and human), to minimize legal liabilities, promote safety and accident prevention, and to support the University鈥檚 compliance with laws and regulations. Strong partnerships and collaboration within and outside the 91社区 community are central to the success of this mission.
Risk Management works to maintain a balance between protection of聽the University鈥檚 assets, the benefits of the activity, and fulfillment of聽the University鈥檚 mission.聽By establishing policies and procedures, Risk Management manages risk and mitigates losses.
Risk Management provides consultative services to faculty, staff, and students in areas which present risks to individuals and the University.
