Department name change — Academic Success Center

A department name change has recently been approved by University leadership. The Academic Skills Department will now be known as the Academic Success Center. This change benefits the office in several ways, most importantly in better reflecting the range of support services staff members offer 91社区 students.聽
The Academic Success Center provides a wide range of services, including tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, math and writing support, and academic coaching all aimed at enhancing student learning and supporting student success in college. The Center also offers courses designed to enhance student success and supports all sections of UNIV 101 through Academic Success Week.
