Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Housing for New Students

Why Live on Campus
Forming lasting relationships, doing better academically, getting involved in student organizations, close proximity to classes and resources are a few of the reasons choosing to live on campus is a great decision! After students are officially admitted to 91社区, they will receive access to the Housing Portal. Log in using the my91社区 login and password provided by the University.

Fee Waiver Eligibility

  • Indiana 21st Century Scholars
  • Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch as a senior in high school in 2024-2025
  • Students who qualify for test fee waivers
  • Military veterans and their dependents聽聽

Fee Waiver Process

  1. Students who may qualify for a waiver should wait to complete the housing application until they receive an email with the decision on their waiver request.
  2. If the waiver is approved, students can proceed with the application. If denied, they must pay the $300 fee.
  3. Students who pay the $300 before requesting the waiver or before receiving a decision will not be refunded, even if they are eligible for the waiver.
  4. To request a fee waiver, students should click on the Waiver Application button on the Housing Portal before completing the housing application.
  5. Supporting documentation must be uploaded, and staff will review the requests and follow up via email with a status update.
What This Means First-time Attending 91社区 Student
STARTING DECEMBER 5: Application opens. Pay your $50 non-refundable housing application fee and $300 Room Reservation Payment inside my91社区. Your contract complete date determines priority for Room Selection.
STARTING MARCH 1: Roommate/Roommate Group process opens.

Find a roommate using the Roommate Search Tool inside my91社区 Housing Portal. Request a roommate/roommate group (optional); roommate selection must be finished by deadline.

*New incoming athletes will not create roommate groups.
BY MAY 9: Deadlines for Room Selection. If you signed your housing contract by May 9, you will be eligible to select your room during Room Selection, based on availability. To be assigned with a specific roommate, you must form and confirm your roommate group by May 9. If you sign your contract after May 9, your room assignment may be different. Roommate groups formed after May 9 may or may not be placed together. STARTING EARLY SUMMER: Room Selection opens.

Room Selection begins in mid May and goes through the end of May, you will receive a timeslot for Room Selection based on your contract signature date.

*New incoming athletes will not participate in room selection. Housing will assign athletes.
By JUNE 1: Deadline for Cancelling Contract To receive a refund on your Room Reservation Payment, you must cancel by June 1. Cancellations made after June 1 will result in the forfeiture of your Room Reservation Payment.
By July 7: Room Notification Students who participate in Room Selection will receive a confirmation of housing assignment and roommate information or notification of temporary housing no later than July 7. Those who do not participate in Room Selection, will be notified as assignments are made.
STARTING MID JULY: Move-in Timeslot Selection opens. Selecting Move-in Timeslot begins mid July.
