Is there a word limit for the abstracts?Ìý
- Yes, between 250 and 300 words.Ìý
When should abstracts be submitted?Ìý
- All abstracts must be submitted before October 1st, 2024, by 11:59 pm (CST).Ìý
Can I submit abstracts for both oral and poster presentations?ÌýÌý
- You can co-author two (or more) different abstracts/studies, but they all must be different studies/topics. For example, you cannot submit the same abstract/topic for oral AND poster presentations. Ìý

- Absolutely! Any undergraduate student can attend and present at the conference.Ìý
When does the conference begin and end?Ìý
- The conference begins at 1 pm and ends at ~5 pm on Friday, November 1st, 2024.Ìý
When will the conference program be posted on the website?Ìý
- Approximately 5 days before the conference.Ìý
What should I wear when I give my presentation?Ìý
- Business attire or business casual attire is appropriate. Click for explanation and for examples. Ìý
Are food and drinks provided?Ìý
- Refreshments and light snacks will be available.Ìý
Will a computer with PowerPoint and a projector be available?Ìý
- Yes, a computer and a projector will be available.Ìý
I’m a presenter. When should I arrive?Ìý
- All presenters should arrive ~12:45 pm (CST) to upload their presentations and hang their posters.Ìý
I’m not a 91ÉçÇø student. Where should I park if traveling to campus to attend the conference?Ìý
- Visitors may park in any campus parking lot not designated by signage as reserved.Ìý
Who can attend the conference?Ìý
- Everyone! Students, faculty, researchers, and community members are all invited to learn about undergraduate research and support presenters.Ìý
How will I know I’ve been accepted to present at the conference?Ìý
- You will receive an email confirming your acceptance and registration with all the details (e.g., registration, presentation time & format, etc.).ÌýÌý

How much time will I have for my oral presentation?Ìý
- You will have a maximum of 15 minutes for your oral presentation.Ìý
How much time will I have for my poster presentation?Ìý
- You will have 45-60 minutes for your poster presentation.Ìý
How do I cancel my registration for the conference?Ìý

How do I withdraw my abstract?Ìý
- You can withdraw your abstract by October 10th by emailing the Chair of the conference, Dr. Urska Dobersek, at udobersek@usi.edu or usi1psichi@usi.edu
Can I present If I haven't collected the data yet or have only collected some of my data?Ìý
- Yes – please submit your abstract either as a poster or oral presentation. Ìý
What are the possible presentation formats?Ìý
- Individuals can submit their abstracts for oral and poster presentations.Ìý
How do I get to 91ÉçÇø and Carter Hall?Ìý
- The 91ÉçÇø is located at 8600 University Blvd, Evansville, IN 47712, on Highway 62 (the Lloyd Expressway) west of Evansville and east of Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Visitors enter campus via an overpass off Highway 62. The campus is accessible from Interstate 64 and U.S. 41. From Interstate 64, take the U.S. 41 south exit to Evansville. At the Lloyd Expressway exit, go west off U.S. 41. Continue west on the Lloyd Expressway (approximately 8 miles) to campus. Watch for signs to 91ÉçÇø.Ìý
