Examples of HIPPA violations would include posting photos, videos, describing experiences involving patients or using patient names that could possibly link a patient for identification to social media such as 鈥渇ace book.鈥�
Violation of the HIPAA law is a serious offense and punishable by fines and/or imprisonment. Students found in violation of the HIPAA law will be immediately dismissed from the program.
